Does Anyone Outside of Boston Actually Give a Shit about Deflategate?

Does Anyone Outside of Boston Actually Give a Shit about Deflategate?

So it looks like the "deflategate' saga that has poisoned sports headlines for 18 months is finally over. Today Tom Brady announced he would stop pursuing legal action to appeal his 4 game suspension, thus ending the dick measuring contest between Roger Goodell and Robert Kraft. But the real story is "why is this even a headline?" I'm sure Pats fans are crying all over internet message boards - which makes me happy - but does anyone else really care? First of all, it's absolutely absurd this shit was still going on. I mean Brady literally started every game LAST YEAR en route to an AFC Championship game birth. It's been a full year and a half since this 'incident' happened and I'm losing my mind wondering why it's ESPN.com's cover story. I guess mid-July sports news really is that slow. This story might have been noteworthy if Brady was serving a year long suspension, but 4 games? 4 games is more than survivable for any franchise, let alone Belichick and the Pats. Boston fans need to stop whining, honestly could any fan base be more spoiled? It actually makes me sick. Let the Jimmy Garoppolo era begin.
