This Yearbook Picture of Noah Syndergaard Can't be Real

This photo is allegedly Mets' ace Noah Syndergaard in high school. The transformation from this pudgy, unremarkable, high school boy to a 6'6 240 pound major league monster nicknamed Thor is just too much to wrap my feeble mortal brain around. When did the change happen? Is this picture actually Noah Syndergaard? Until I can verify a source, I have to believe this was photo shopped. Someone must've just put Syndergaard's name under some kid's picture who kind of looks like him...right? If this picture is actually real then it raises more questions than it answers. I mean we are talking some serious genetic lab mutation type shit. I picture the scene in Captain America where he enters that chamber a scrawny little runt and comes out a jacked superhero. I just don't know how to explain it any other way. I'm just going to attempt to forget I ever saw this picture in the first place so that it wont keep me up at night.
