D Rose to the Knicks Might Make Me a Knicks Fan

I'll be the first to admit that I am a bandwagon Knicks fan. When they do well I'm on board, but when they suck I can't even watch them, but acquiring Derek Rose might change all of that. I've always loved Derek Rose. From the moment I saw him put on a show when he played for Simeon against Oak Hill when he was in high school to his freshman year at Memphis when he wasstone cold assassin, I was captivated. I was genuinely depressed every time I heard he got injured. But now he's coming off his first healthy season since 2012 and is poised for a breakout year. He should be able to compliment Melo and Porzingis well and I expect to see him as more of a distributing guard rather than a primary scorer with the Knicks. Phil has finally made a solid GM move, and depending on who else he can pick up this off season, the Knicks might actually be fun to watch this year - a stern contrast to seasons past when the only safe bet has been against them. I'm actually excited to see how this team plays come October. I'll find out how big of a Knicks fan I really am probably around the new year, so until then I guess I'm really just a D Rose fan.
