Euro 2016 is off to a great start, filled with intense footballing and unpredictable twists.  However, great play and drama are not the only things the Euros provide for its viewers...player names are equally as entertaining.  Below are the names we have dubbed the best of Euro 2016:

Kingsley Coman - FW - France - Great alliteration, but with a name like that, it sounds like he should be playing for the Jamaican National Team

Hal Robson-Kanu - FW - Wales - Wait...I've heard of this guy before...but I thought he was playing 2nd base for the Seattle Mariners?

Jazz Richards - DF/MF - Wales - His full name is Ashley Darel Jazz Richards, but I don't blame him for going by Jazz...unique and differentiates him from the probable 1,000 Ashley Richards currently residing in Wales.

Martin Skrtel - DF - Slovakia - I remember capturing and training Skrtel to fight in battles when I was 7 and loved Pokémon

Ondrej Duda - MF - Poland - If you close your eyes and hear his name, you'd think he should be playing for the Brazilian National Team instead

Shkodran Mustafi - DF - Germany - Sounds like the name of a villain in a CIA movie

Paddy McNair - DF/MF - Northern Ireland - Few names could sound more Northern Irish than that

Volkan Babacan - GK - Turkey - Rolls off the tongue and sounds great out loud

Leonardo Bonucci - DF - Italy - Could be the name of a character depicting Leonardo da Vinci in a historical fiction movie about da Vinci's life
